Audio & StereoTechnical discussions about factory or aftermarket audio and video systems.
This is a discussion thread titled "Need Audio Installer Austin Texas", within the Audio & Stereo forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I have amps (PPI Chrome & pre MTX Xtants) and am buying subs, components ect and need a GOOd installer as I do not trust any of the big box stores to do things right. I am more interested in SQ and good bass attack than boom-boom. Looking to put 2-10's or 4-8's in a custom box under the rear seat and a new HU if metra ever gets a dash kit made. PM me if you know anyone or can help.
Thanks in advance!!
With a little online research i think you'll find it quite easy to do yourself. Theres really nothing to it and its actually very simple once you get started.
Back in the 80's I built many a box in a friends fathers cabinet shop and wired in a few punch 45's but I hate working on cars/trucks of any kind these days....all the cramped spaces and knuckle busting just ruins it for me. I own an HVAC company so I get plenty of craped places and frustration all summer...so I am glad to pay someone to tear my truck apart rather than spend a saturday ticked off and cussing.

I used to install stereo a long time ago. I don't like working on cars anymore either. I only work on my own cars because I am not under a time constraint and if there is a problem it is my fault.
