Audio & StereoTechnical discussions about factory or aftermarket audio and video systems.
This is a discussion thread titled "E7007/8 Sienna NAV into 2006 Tundra", within the Audio & Stereo forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I'm going to start another thread about this E7007/8.
I have a 2006 DC with JBL and the E7006. I just bought an E7007 (the new Sienna Nav unit with 4 disc internal changer, Blue tooth)
It has the same rear camera and Voice capability.
The things I will need are the new connector for the camera and mic (which are now combined, and is the connector in the lower LH side of the picture) 90980–12404.
Also, since I have a volume control on my steering wheel (LH), I'm going to add the RH switch from a Sienna. I don't have a p/n yet.
Here is the front and back of the new E7007.

Reason: add another picture
Saturday was a reasonably successfull day. I made a connector and used it to do the install.
I've attached a picture..(but it is not pretty). Everything was plug and play except for the connector which allows the rear view camera and the microphone (and the external aux input)
The camera was a success but not the microphone.
I have a BC-105 and here is the color codes:
From the camera harness Radio schematic color and pin number
Red Red pin 24
Black White pin 21
Yellow Black pin 22
White Shield pin 23
I tried all six combinations of the microphone, but none seemed to work. I don't have the steering wheel switch so I couldn't activate the Nav units voice.
I did get the Bluetooth to pair with my Verizon Motorola V710 phone, but until I can figure out the mic and get a switch, that aspect will be on hold.
The Sirius (toyota solara kit) radio worked fine as does the 4 disc internal changer.
I didn't get a chance to hook up or try the aux input.
Paul I have the E2006 and I am trying to figure out how to add a back-up cam. Is one of the plugs on the rear of the unit designated for this purpose, and if so, can you tell me which one?
Or..do I need some sort of wire harness or converter to add a cam?
The Sienna forum has been a wealth of information!
A steering wheel switch is 84250-08030-B0 (B0 for the gray <taupe> switch), which I've just ordered. (includes both sides)
Parts for the Aux port are 84480-AE0303 and 86190-AE010. I've ordered them also.
My final bit of news is that I used the original electrical diagram and ran a wire between pin 12 and 15, but an update diagram showed the jump er between 12 and 18. I need to try this when I pull the radio. This may help my microphone issues.
what did you use to make the pins? I have a different unit but I broke the plug for my bu cam. i was thinking of just making new pinout but dont know what to use. i want to try pc jumpers but they may be too big to fit.
just in case any one is interested i bought a 9pin female din connector, the type for monitors and serial cables, and they worked perfectly. nice snug fit on the pin and a little elec. tape to prevent crosstalk.

that is what i used. in the package are little female connectors. used those to replace the adapter all together. just crimped those females to the 4 wires and attached them to the male pins behind the unit. to get pictues of the final would mean id have to take the dash apart again which is not much fun.
