Default 2006 Avalon Limited AC sensors

Hi
I posted a thread not a long time ago about the AC of the car acting funny especially on the driver side.
Well after no real responses I decided to leave it the way it was as the weather was not that hot.
Unfortunately the hot weather has suddenly come and that is when we have noticed weird things with the AC.
When the weather is really hot and sunny the AC barely works.
However when the weather cools down a bit and the sun is not out and the sky is darker then the AC seems to be working fine hence this question.

How many sensors are used and how can i tell if these AC sensors are working or not?
I check the codes but nothing.
Also, we just replace the whole AC fluid last week end (Kinda looks like it made it worse than it was)

Any help is appreciated.

Adrien

Since it is a 2006 it should still have full warranty coverage. Go to your local dealer, and if no satisfaction, try another dealer. As a last resort contact Toyota Customer Service Hq. That is what they are there for. No need trying to trouble shoot this youself. Pick the type of day that is most likely to produce the symptons you are talking about and take it in. If purchased from your local dealer, you can drive in and have it's performance noted, even if they can not get it in for repair that day.

thanks for your response
We actually got the car from an auction after it got a front left side accident.
My in laws repaired it. They have a repair garage.
But now that the weather is hot the AC has been acting up.

Now that you mention the waranty, how can i know if the waranty is still valid and/or good.

Thanks

never mind
The condensor is leaking/
After changing the fluid we added some colorant to see if it was leaking and yes it is. We did replace the condensor with a new one but looks like it was not enough.

So we'll see if we repair it or change it.

Thanks for the help though
