Can the mp3 jack found in the 2008 avalone be put into a 2006 avalon limited with JBL and nav?

It's a built in function of the new head unit... plus the wiring... it would probably cost you a pretty penny to do this since you'd have to buy all the factory parts.

There are other alternatives to get an aux input... Here is one that gives you aux and ipod capability:
