Default How to relocate JBL, after aftermarket installation

I installed a jensen VM9512 radio, but now sometimes the nav screen does not respond, or it saids check the aircondition connection. If I leave one of the plugs into the back of the OEM radio, the nav works fine for awhile and the starts tripping again. I think I have to relocate the JBl. I think I have to leave in the one plug and power to the other one for everything to work. Ther are 3 plugs on it. The main is now hooked up to the jensen, and the other ,not the one for CD controller is hooked up to JBL. If I disconnect this one, the nav screen does not come on at all. I need to find out where I can get a OEH vehicle harness, so that I can hookup the jBL and put it in the trunk or somewhere.

I would like to ask you a question about the multizone of your Jensen VM9512. I really appreciate if you answer me...

I'm looking for a VM9022 or a VM9512 and I need to know if it's possible to watch a DVD on the rear zone and IN THE SAME TIME listen music on SD card or USB device in the front zone. Most unit have limitation on DVD, SD and USB cause the processor is share between these source. As the VM9512 is "twin core" I think there's not limition but i try to find someone who can confirm.

Thanks!

I have not been on this for a while, but I got this to work. I relocated jbl radio to the truck, I hooked up one of the smaller hookups to the radio. Everything works in the car except for the voice command button, but I never really used it anyway. Now my heat and new radio works fine. I might not be back on for awhile, you can email me if you have questions. Terryat@mail.milwaukee.k12.wi.us

Question Re: How to relocate JBL, after aftermarket installation

Hey Ugoal, can you please tell me the wiring harnesses you used to make the aftermarket stereo work and can you also please tell me how you extended that navigation wire to keep the factory navi and climate controls working. Please list any and all parts and the name of the place where I can get them. I will greatly appreciate it.

I also have a 2005 Toyota Avalon Limited.
