Multiple P1135
P1135. This error is getting harder to diagnose instead of being easier. P1135 Bank1 Sensor1; P1155 Bank2 Sensor1 seems to set at the same time. Initially I had injector 2&3 fouled causing a miss that I attributed to bad gas. This was the first error (P0202 & 203). I used injector cleaner which didn’t help; then had the spark plugs replaced along with #3 injector, I cleaned #2. After this work, both banks started error checking with P1135. I replaced both Oxy sensors, Swapped the A/F relay, tested the 12v relays (A/F, EFI), cleaned the MAP sensor with brake cleaner, visually checked the harness, road tested with AutoEng’s scan tool and recorded both sensors occasionally going to 7.44v at the same time, but not over that voltage. These are two completely different circuits in the computer, so I hate to buy one since it doesn’t seem likely both ckts would be failing at the same time. Could the injector cleaner affect the sensors and set an error? A shop replaced the #3 injector and plugs for $500 because I didn’t want to open up the back rail so I have $800 invested. I’d like to be more confident if I buy the EMC. I’ll check the EMC voltages but this appears to be an intermittent failure. I’ve goggled the web on the 1135 and there isn’t any reference to both banks getting these errors.
Any advice will be appreciated, Thanks.
I checked the voltages at the Bank 2 A/F connection unplugged. 12.26 Bat, 2.8 HAFR, 3.76 AFR+, 3.46 AFR-, (.3V diff as it should be), A/F sensor 1 ohm and inf.
I checked the Long and short term fuel trim for both banks while taking a test drive and all values are at zero. I'm thinking this must be related to the problem, and my next step is to remove the neg battery terminal for 3 to 5 min to clear ECM stored data. Possibly something got scrambled when it was in the shop. The ign key and ECM relationship slowed my move to replace the computer.
I've made a couple of mistakes, first - the second code was P1155 for bank 2 with the same message as bank one. I looked at the error a dozen times and didn't see it-just read the message. Second, you have to remove both battery cables and touch them together to reset the ECM. I haven't done this yet although I did pull the glove box and checked voltages. The system never goes into closed loop regardless of the engine temp. I metered the MAP and it looks good. I get a reading on the scan program. I'm close to putting it in the shop.

Reason: Checked voltage
