Friend has avalon with keyless start and battery died, how do you start car????

Which battery, the car battery or the battery for the keyless FOB. In any case, I would think just buy a new battery, install it and go from there. If it is the FOB battery it should start the car by holding the unit right up against the start button and push. There is usually always one last start in it, when it does not function in the ordinary way.
