1999 Avalon engine dies right after turn over
I start the engine, it starts to turn over then dies a second later. My dad can smell fuel from the exhaust pipe. I had to leave the car at work at night. Plan to have it towed home tomorrow. Haynes manual says to check the loose connections at coils and alternator, check fuel injector, and might be a vacuum leak at the gasket between the intake manifold and throttle body.
Anyone have any advice?
