Default Anyone have a tech writeup for pulling the radio out of a 05 dash?

I searched, but couldn't find what I was looking for. Does anyone have a tech writeup or step-by-step instructions for properly getting behind the factory stereo?

I am wanting to install an ipod interface, but not sure how complicated it is to take apart the dash around the radio or run wires down the center console.

Try this - XM radio install instructions. It has the full dash disassembly and audio wiring stuff. Good luck.

0. don't be scared JUST PULL
1. pull round plastic around the keylock (put it in save place)
2. pull plastic part covering a steering wheel on the right side of wheel (from inside of keylock chamber) - you should free LEFT edge of WHOLE radio/AC panel
3. now PULL WHOLE radio cover/AC panel (just slightly - dont be scared ! - 1" is enough)
4. disconnect LEFT plug controlling TEMP/FANS from INSIDE of panel
5. now you can move whole buttons frame to the right side (you don't need disconnect right harness)
6. unscrew 4x bolts
7. pull radio unit
8. disconnect radio harnesses

you have your unit in the hand
assembling in reverse order - dont miss bolts
