Cabin Air Temp Control Problem
I have a 97 Avalon XLS with automatic cabin air temperature control. On a trip last week it worked only half of the time, switching between working and not only after the car had been turned off. We normally just adjust the temp ourselves and not even use the auto setting, but even this works sporadically.
When it isn't working the air is either cold (if the dial is turned all the way down to the cold temp setting) or hot (if the dial is turned all the way up to the hot temp setting). There is no way to get anything in between.
Is there any ideas on what might be causing this?
