2000 Avalon fuel filter

where's the fuel filter for yr's 2000 Avalon; and how often needed to replace?

The fuel filter is on the left side of the engine bay,in the area below the brake master cylinder and air box.When I first started working on Toyotas,they said to replace fuel filters every 30000 miles,even the EFI ones.Now they say they are lifetime filters.I usually present the page from the Toyota ASM guide that lists the reasons for replacement and the consequences of not doing it,and let my customers decide for themselves.I don't feel that every 60,000 is excessive,but it depends on whether you are a PM-type(Preventive Maint.) or a fix-it-when-it-breaks-type.
