Default 06 Avalon Limited AC issue

Hi
Now that the nice weather is back here in chicago I started using the AC.
I think there is an issue with the AC but not sure where to look for.

In non dual mode (same temperature in passenger and driver side), the air comes out cold on the passenger side, and regular airflow in the driver side.
I mean not cold. Actually it alternates cold/normal, but most of the time it is not cold air coming out.

I've realized that after noticing that the cabin temperature would not come down even with the temperature set to the lowest.
I put my hand on the vents of the driver side and the air was coming out normal, but the passenger was cold.

thanks for any help and information

Adrien

Default Re: 06 Avalon Limited AC issue

Well i am not sure if anyone has had the issue but I have some new information/symptoms.
According to my wife, when the outside temperature is normal the AC on the driver side works ok (or it seems), and the passenger side AC work no problem
However when the weather gets warmer, the AC on the driver side stops working and the passenger side AC works ok still

I am not sure what to look for now.

Anybody has any idea?

thanks

Adrien
