	Inguinal Bilateral Hernia Repair Good luck with your recovery. I had the same operation done when I was 12, in 1968. I was an active kid. I don't remember it being especially bothersome before the operation, but it was a good repair, and hasn't returned. It wasn't a laparotomy in those days, and I have a 4" long scar as a souvenir.
