2009 tacoma engine tick

I just bought a 2009 Tacoma and noticed that there is a slight "tick" in the engine. Almost like the sound of a lifter knocking.
Has anyone else had this problem??

I bought an 09' Tacoma double cab two weeks ago and as soon as it hit 650 miles i started getting a wicked ticking noise which sounds like the lifters also. I also have a 97' tacoma with 207,000 miles and it dosnt sound anything close to this thing!

I talked to a number of people and my dealer. Apparently, it is the fuel injectors making that ticking noise and it is totally normal.

try changin the oil. use a thicker more lubricant oil also. had the same problem and it helped.
