Help with a remote question

Help:
I have a liftmaster remote that currently opens my front gate. I cannot use it to program my wife's Lincoln Navigator's openers. I'm thinking that I need to get a homelink remote that can learn the liftmaster signal. I'll then use the homelink remote to program the car opener. Any thoughts how to get a homelink remote that will do the trick?
