MPG Numbers 6-30-2009

Filled up today:

208.4 miles mixed driving
Air conditioner the whole time
12.449 gallons Shell87
16.7403 MPG.8973 MPG decrease
over last mixed driving and A/C

These numbers are pretty darn good. The good fuel economy seems to have become par for the course – not that I am complaining. Considering that these numbers are the result of mixed driving with some trailer miles the MPG numbers are quite excellent.

Filled up today:

325.7 miles mixed driving
Some trailer
Air conditioner the whole time
30 minutes of idling with air conditioner running
20.491 gallons Shell87
15.8948 MPG
.8973 MPG decrease over last city with all trailer and A/C

These mileage numbers were pretty evenly divided between city, highway and trailer pulling. The overall mileage is excellent with that in consideration. I am fairly well convinced (although I have yet to confirm this)...
