Inguinal Bilateral Hernia Repair

Today I had surgery to repair a double inguinal bilateral hernia, which has been bothering me for many months. This is the sort of hernia that bulges out in your lower abdomen and where the sack hangs down into your scrotum.

If your bladder is full you'll feel pressure from it that can be very uncomfortable. Other activities like walking, running or exercise can also irritate the area. I can't imagine how people can live with it permanently but I'm told many do.

A visit to the Big Apple

The first week in December my wife and I paid a visit to New York city for five days. We stayed at a comfortable Sheraton hotel in Queens and used the subway train to make our way into Manhattan daily.

Our visits included the typical tourist attractions like the Empire State Building, Macy's, Rockefeller Center, NBC television, Radio City and other destinations. At any given time some 13,000 taxi cabs are on the street of New York but getting in one is another story. Everything was...

Disney Trip

We've been in Orlando at Disney: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw...rkOverviewPage for the past week and will return home tomorrow (Tuesday). The parks are always fun with some new attractions and interests but I can't help but come away feeling like I need a vacation for the vacation.

The weather IMO has been unusually hot and steamy especially in the afternoon. So by mid day you find yourself tired, thirsty and hungry most of the time. The sun is relentless...
