Default Access cab window latch broken

Hello, my access cab window latches on both sides are now broken and i am looking to fix them. i have been searching around and found that i can get the replacement from Toyota but they are still made of plastic and will most likely brake again. i was wondering if anyone knows if someone makes aluminum latch arms to replace the plastic ones.

We used to have John at JSI Motor sports but they went under. There is no one else that I know of unfortunately. I managed to get mine from Josh before he disappeared

Same here. They're a far more robust part. Someone with access to a CNC milling machine will step up and fab up some more of these.

I used to have access but figured people would rather buy from a legit company. Now that he's gone, I don't have access to that CNC anymore. I probably do somewhere at my university but I haven't discovered where yet. I plan on making some once I get that sorted out but I'll have to make some friends first

I talked to Remmy awhile back about getting an extrusion made and cutting latches to size. I didn't hear back from the supplier I contacted, but am trying to contact another one. I'll probably have to dig out my old drafting supplies to make a drawing before doing it. They my not want to deal in very small quantities. They consider 1,000lbs a small job. We'll see if they are hungry?

A few years back there was another member who had some machined and began selling them, but because Josh complained about having to complete, this guy stopped selling them. I have a set that he sent me in case I ever needed them. For the life of me I cannot remember his name, maybe some of the old members my recollect. I do know that a few of the posts were deleted because the discussion got pretty heated. :-) I'll have to drink a few beers and put my thinking cap on and see if I can find some old info.
In the meantime, Anamouse made his own, check this thread. Rear window latch broken

Someone get the CAD file, email it to me. I have 2012 LT on my system right now, I'll see what I can do at work.

No promises though, our CNC guy is backed up.

I found the seller and sent him an e-mail. I see what he says, and update.

^ Thank you! I have two broken latches also. This would be a nice upgrade.
