Default Factory Brakes?

I've got 98k miles on the original brakes on my '03 Tundra. I'm beginning to notice a slight shimmy in the steering wheel but only under heavy braking. I'm doing initial research into the brake job and I see all sorts of recommendations for upgraded rotors, pads, etc. My truck has the '04 brake system already. Since I've gotten 100k miles out of the originals I'm thinking I might as well install Toyota brake parts. Has anyone done that or is everyone here upgrading?

If you got 98k on the originals I can't see any reason to do anything differently. Stick with Toyota pads, and consider new rotors Raybestos, Brembo or any good name brand.
The rear brakes may still be good but the drums maybe warped. See if you can feel any tight and loose spots as the drum is rotated during adjustment this would indicate a warped drum.

I was thinking about replacing the rotors with factory rotors at $113 a pop. Does anyone know who makes the factory rotors? Is that Brembo?

Toyota make thier own rotors, but Brembo is a good aftermarket brand.
