brake fluid

how much brake fluid is needed for a brake fluid flush. 32 oz bottle be enough?

Been a while, but if I recall I used a 32oz, and a bit more. But since I was doing it myself (with speedbleeders) verse with a helper I pumped... walked around and looked... filled the reservoir ... pump... look.. etc... if there was a helper he/she could have told me stop when the fluid color changed. As it was I am certain I wasted some.
