Whenever I let go of the brake pedal I get an extremely annoying and loud squeak. Even when I am stopped it does it. Does anyone have any suggestions about what it may be, Thanks

I don't have this problem but to give suggestions as to what or where your problem is. Do you hear the squeak inside, outside, from the front or rear?
The first thought I had was your caliper(s) need to be lubed.

I have this problem also, usually only when the truck has been sitting for a few hours or longer, and it only happens in reverse. It's coming from the front passenger side on mine.
From what I can tell, it's coming from the front brakes, not the rear. It only happens when I release the brake...

Squeals are always caused by a vibration. This could be a vibration from the pads or could be the pad warning tab rubbing the rotor. You didn't mention what condition your pads are in or how old they are. It is common for the warning tab to quite making noise as you press the pads against the rotors. But then again this could be the pads as they can quite also as they are pressed tight and not allowed to vibrate anymore.
If the pads are in good condition you should check the shims and the anti rattle spring. Make sure factory shims are used and the spring is in place as shown in the link posted above.

Hey guys I'm having the exact same problem on my 2000. When i bought it from the dealership they said they replaced all the brake pads and rotors on the front. However i still get that high pitched squeal when in reverse. On mechanic told me maybe i have a hard spot on my rotors, another guy told me to soak my pads in graphite that might help. Any thoughts?
