Default Master Cylinder Dripped Dry

While doing the front caliper upgrade, I let the master cylinder drip dry so that fluid no longer dripped from the front brake lines.

I then installed the new calipers and then filled the reservoir with fresh fluid and waited till fluid began dripping from the caliper nipples.

Then I did a pump/release sequence on each side. I then did the rear lines and finally back to the front again.

My question is: Should I Bleed the master cylinder since I let let the front lines drip dry?

If so, where do I open the master cylinder to bleed it? I see a kind of nut or something on the bottom of the cylinder. Or must I open the lines where they exit the master cylinder?

Earl, you have three threads open on this subject. You know you can keep posting in the same thread, I promise we will look at it.
The nut on the bottom is likely a stop for the front piston. Do Not take this out. You can bleed the lines at the master, just like a bleeder. Pump up the brakes and crack open the line till fluid comes out. Be careful fluid can spray everywhere. Best to put a rag over it.
You could very well have some air trapped here and this should get it out.

OK Mike... Will stick to a single thread. I did not realize there was a separate forum for brakes... Thats one reason I have multiple threads. Thanks for the info on bleeding the master cylinder.
