Rear Brake help needed

I just replaced ym rear brake shoes after 5 years of ownership. Still in good condiiton. Well now my rear brakes don;t work and I have no emergency brake. Do I just need to adjust my rear brakes? Any help is appreciated.

Sound that way. You always need to adjust the shoe up when replacing them.
