Default Dashboard brake lamp

#1 After fixing a brake line on a 2000 Tundra 4x4 the dashboard brake trouble lamp stays on. I know how to fix this on an American car; bleed the master cylinder but the Tundra has no bleeder for this purpose. How do I get this lamp off?

#2 The original problem with the leaking brake line was caused by a rotted bolt that holds the brake line bracket to the spindle. It had the problem on both sides. Just curious if this obvious quality issue was ever addressed in a TSB or recall.

Thanks,

Chip

Chip, it sounds as though the float in the master cylinder is stuck causing your light to stay on.
Open the master cylinder and check that the float has returned to the top.
Haven't heard of any TBS or recall about bolt issues.

Hope this helped.
