Default Need Copies of Rear Brake TSB

I need to know if anyone can post a copy of the following TSB's:
BR003-02 REAR BRAKE VIBRATION
BR001-01 REAR BRAKE VIBRATION

I used to have a copy of them but can not find them now.

I did this and I remember the drum being more substantial, the edges were not beveled off and had more mass, also the star ratchet wheel or whatever you call it that adjusts the brakes with the use of the parking brake were different as well, I think it had fewer and larger teeth.

Ok just read the tsb and what I did was different. The guy at toyota told me the tsb mainly included upgraded drum and star adjuster. Seemed to help mine out. I did note that the drum was different than what I had on there and so was the adjuster.

Did you also have the front brakes upgraded?

I did the rear first since I though that's where the vibration was coming from. After I upgraded the drums and adjuster wheels it seemed to help with braking and shaking. But shaking got worse and I decided to have the front rotors turned again. Smoothed everything out, then a while later shaking again.

So I did the front tsb with calipers I got from Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market for $20 a piece, then new toyota rotors, and pads. So far so good. Breaking altogether now much improved. Very slight pedal pressure needed to stop and braking starts immediately when you touch the pedal. Before you had to depress the pedal a bit before I noticed/felt braking.

Hope that helps.

BTW my Dad has an 03 and it has the older rear drums and older version calipers like mine 00 did. He however is not having brake issues at this time.

Oh, after I did the tundra front TSB I put the old calipers on my 97 4runner!

Yep, you can always sell your old calipers here, the 4 runner guys look for them.
