Default 07 tundra fronts

Is it normal for the front brakes to be gone @ 28k miles? I'm starting to get shake out of the front when braking and a small amount of squealing. Also when driving slow I think I hear the brake sensors rubbing.
Just came over from chevy and my pads seemed to last longer

The average life span of automotive brakes is 30K, but trucks tend to last longer as the brakes are larger. With that said I would not delay and have them checked as soon as possible.

Replaced mine at 33k 90% worn.

EDIT:

BTW dealership wanted $660 to replace them. I bought the OEM rotors and pads and did it myself for under $300.

any special tools you need for changing the brakes on the 07 Tundra?

I'm about to replace my brakes and wanted to know if there are any special out of the ordinary tools needed.

Just a torque wrench. Always torque the wheels!
