Default Porterfield kevlar rear shoes?

Anybody use the porterfield carbon kevlar rear brake shoes? Are they good? Could you tell a difference?

Kevlar is one of the most aggressive and hardest brake material available. It hardly wares at all, in fact depending on the formulation, you will likely see the drum wear away instead of the shoes. Kevlar on brake shoes is often very sticky and can be notorious for causing premature brake lock up. It dusts heavily and must be clean out often.
I would avoid them.

I put the Porterfield Carbon/kevlar pads (not just kevlar) on my F-450 and they made a big difference in stopping power. Don't have to press nearly as hard on the peddle when fully loaded, and so far they don't really make much dust at all. According to Porterfield they are very rotor and drum friendly pads too.
