Question Caliper Bleeder Size?

I am looking for the size of the caliper bleeders for a 2003 4Runner V6 Limited, and cannot find a spec on the part, even from my local dealer parts desk.

In checking Russell Performance's site: Russell Performance - Truck/SUV Speed Bleeders, they state that they take the same model number (#639560, 10mm X 1.0) as the ones I have on my 2002 Tundra V8 SR5, but they appear noticeably smaller in thread diameter.

These things are a time-saver and make brake line bleeding a 1-man job, so any help (or a point in the right direction) would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

This is not a readily published specification. I doubt that even a Toyota dealer could even give you a definite size.
If you have or could borrow a dial caliper, preferably a digital one since these can be switch to millimeter, you may be able to measure the bleeder without even removing it. Measure the outside diameter of the threads and that will give you the size.

I think you're right Mike. I'll try the digital dial caliper idea, order the set closest in size from Russell and give it a try.
