Default Are my pads worthless? I got fluid on them..

I am replacing the rotors and pads on an 02 sequoia and got brake fluid on the pads. It's not alot of fluid I just grabbed the pads with brake fluid on my hands, but all the manuals say avoid getting fluid on the pads. How unsafe will this be since my wife will be driving the vehicle and obviously want her to be safe which is why i'm replacing the rotors/pads in the first place.

Thanks

I've done this before- I just hosed the bugger down with brake cleaner (spray can type), wiped it clean, and sprayed again for good measure. Seemed to work just fine after that. Take it for a long careful test drive first if you're worried.

That's right as long as they are not soaked a little brake clean will clean them right up. Let it dry off the pads good before you put them on.
