Default Brake Components - salt

Hi,

I'm about to change my rotors and pads on my 05 DC and have a parts questions regarding my particular situation.

I use the truck every month or two at the coast to get kayaks in and out of the water and therefore it's exposed to both sand and saltwater.(Yes, I probably even drive through salt-water) The components get very rusty no matter how much I wash them.

Also, I tow approx. 4000 lbs several times a year (total of 3-4k miles or so usually half in the mountains).

Are there any specific rotors or pads that I should or should not consider due to these situations. Also, what have you guys learned that actually have a winter and have to deal with salted roads concerning brake components, etc.?

thanks
