Call me "chicken"... but I've always been... "intimidated" with doing my own brake pad replacement, but Alan's PDF file is quickly... changing my mind. It's silly I know... but I'm getting to the point, where having it done by someone else... is too costly... and you can't even trust 'em... in some cases! Case in point... my '95 Taco. It needed... not only pads... but rotors as well. $300+ later and less than 1,000 miles... the rotors warped and I had to have them replaced... AGAIN! At least this time... it was covered under warranty... since the rotors were so new! To add further... "insult-to-injury".. they used the cheapest.... sorry @$$ pads they could find... just to make an extra dollar off me! I've had MORE brake dust issues than I've I can EVER remember having, since I bought the truck 4 years ago!!
So all that said... I have a quick question for ya' here. Will the PDF file instructions, which Alan created (i.e. HOW TO: Front Disc Brake Pad Replacement )... be the "same" for the Tundra as well as... for my poor little Tacoma?
Thanks,
Dave
