Smile Tundra Park Brake light Problem

As the weather has gotten a little colder, I notice the Parking Brake Light coming on when I apply the brakes. The Parking Brake is of course completely released and the Park Brake Light Switch appears to be securely in place. Any Ideas? Thanks

I had this problem recently. I topped off the brake fluid level and it has not happened since!

That "Parking Brake Light" is more than just a parking brake light. It also warns you via a sensor in the brake fluid resorvoir that your brake fluid is getting low. You need to check your brake fluid level and top off as necessary. You also need to inspect your brake pads since the most likely cause for the low fluid level is worn pads. As the pads wear out, the brake pistons move farther out and more fluid is required to fill the void where the piston was hence the lower level in the resorvoir.
