I was looking at some newer TSB's today and found this [url deleted] . I states to check the rear axel to see if is in specs before replacing the rear brake components! I argued with my dealer several times to check mine for run out and was ingnored for the most part. Now it looks like I was right and there is an issue with the rear axle. I remember a long while back a member got his axel replaced who had the rear brake vibs and that is why I had thought to mention it to my dealer. They supposedly checked it and said it was OK but who knows since it was just my suggestion. It sort of boils my blood that I have had to live with this for 5 years and spent several hundred of my own money not to mention 10-15 trips to the dealer over this. It states that they will replace the axel under the 5-60 drive train warranty but the brakes are only 3-36.

Mitch,

Did you have any noise associated with the vibration? Anything that sounded like a bearing gone bad?

No I did not have a noise but read this thread about bearing problems with the rear axle. Mike Donofrio had a problem with his rear axle bearings.
