Default HAWK Performance now makes the D976 pads...

Anybody that has the bigger calipers from the front brake TSB or an '03-'06 Tundra can now buy D976 brake pads.

RACESHOPPER has started to carry them.... JB

I'm a few weeks away from replacing my front pads.
My 2003 had the TSB work done, and since then my brakes have been great.

How do these pads compare with the stock pads?

Thanks for any info

Hey,

Personally, I can only vouch for the HPS pads on a '90 4-Runner. They are way better in stopping power over the OEM pads we had on. They stop pretty darn good..... It looks like they might be a little dustier than the OEM's but that could be due to my wife not having the truck washed very often lately....

We had a GB awhile ago on rotors and pads and HAWK pads was one of the options. They had good reviews from the guys who installed them...

Search "SP Rotors" in the titles and you should bring up the GB threads and the install review thread for more info.....

If you like the OEM pads for less dust, check out the HAWK Ceramic pads...
