On the front of the rotor there is a small rubber plug
    remove it
turn to hole down to the botton
insert a small FLAT balde screw driver and spin the adjuster wheel down to loosen the parkign brake shoes.
Do not force the rotor, the parking brake mechanism is a nightmare to install if it comes apart

Ya, your right there is no rubber on a sequoia. The camry has it.
    Same idea.
    Glad it worked
