Default Custom's Brokers

Does anyone know what these guys do, it seems as though I am going to pay a middle man to clear my truck for me when I can do it myself...I am confused........anyone also have any ideas on what the fee's would be, any hookups.....My truck is there way early now....dammit....at least it'll be ready for pickup when I get there....and damn Homeland Defense X-rayed my container and are charging my 175.00 to do so....coming back to the states is really tiring...you think they'd hookup a military member.....sorry for the rant...

pls. NORCAL assist...hehe...

The customs broker is the third party that will get your truck imported.

He has the know how to get it done. Most are honest and straight forward in their job.

If you knew what paperwork you needed and how to get it processed you may have a chance doing on your own.

Usually the broker gets the paperwork together and submits it for you. Also, because he knows the ins ans outs it will get done much quicker than you can get it done.

The homeland security charge sucks however. Friggin' knee jerk government!

.

Stick with a good custom's broker .. they are a life-saver on paperwork and getting the product through. (Given their price is reasonable)

The container x-ray fee is a rip-off.

Welcome back to the US

Yeah, You are right man..
only customers broker can help you out in this..For me, it's Alpari-UK. Apart from meeting
all the background checks, their customer service and quick response time is second
to none.
