Default powder coating in san diego area

I am new to the area and to powder coating process, but I would like to color match all the chrome on my sr5 blk d cab. I am not a rich man but would like to find a shop that could do a good job without costing me an arm and a leg. any help would be great thanks

You might look into having the chromed areas Line-X'ed. You can color match including black so no possible fading. This will make those body areas impact resistant (Line-X is bast resistant!) and if you really scrape it up just respray it and its like new!!

Isn't most of the "chrome" just shiny plastic? Don't think you can powder coat plastic

I suggested Line-X as an alternative to powdercoating. Line-X can be applied to plastic parts as well as metal.
It is also illustrated on the Line-X website and was confirmed by my installer after he checked with Line-X.

This can be a paint saver when in brush country!!!

i appreciate the responses and i actually contacted a line-x dealer here in town but was quoted $300 per bumper, does that sound right? to me that seems to be alot of money for such a small area to line-x. thanks graetwhyte for the idea i am going to try to contact a few more places tomorrow. but to smack the bumpers are metal and can be powder coated, the best price i got was $300 for both pieces not bad i guess but as graetwhyte pointed out the durability of line-x appeals to me but unfortunately the price doesn't. does anybody have any pics of this line-x mod with color matching blk on blk, thanks for the help
