Default Good Tundra Transmission shop in San Diego?

My turn for a new tranny but I can't complain. I have 173k on it and abused it pretty good over the years. I just want to make sure when I rebuild it I have someone who knows the ins and outs of the tundra tranny and installs the upgrade parts.

I have Inland Trucks do that kind of work for me. They are a Toyota only shop (Toyota, Scion, Lexus) and always do a great job, with very fair pricing. They don't get grease and sh!t all over the inside and headliner of my truck like the local Toyota Dealer consistently does, and they are way honest, even in these down times. They are located here in Temecula so that might be out of the question for you, but i know they recently bought ProTrux in San Marcos, and i can only assume they provide the same excellent service.

See Curt at Tri-City Transmission in Vista. Best in the county, hands down. 760-758-2070

No one at Inland knows trannys. They do not do that kind of work. They would pull it and send it out to a shop to be repaired. He is looking for the actual transmission shop. I have known Dalon since before he owned Inland when he worked for Jim at Protrux. For shops in San Marcos I would recomend Aloha Automotive. It is right near ProTrux. In the Temecula area I would suggest Inland for repairs.
