Sweet... this is sounding like it's really gonna be fun!

As far as when you want to meet... 10am sounds fine too me... a little early for my tastes... but whatever works for the majority I am down with.

Here's the thing... I've been waiting for a person who knows what they're talking about with Gorman like you TMS2U. I'm glad that you're going because maybe you will be able to put a little organization into the trek, because I really don't know my way around. If you could suggest a place to meet, that'd be awesome... and from there... well, let's just hope I don't flip my truck!

As far as if we're doing a trail or just playing in the park, that's completely up to everyone once we get there. Personally, I'd really like to do some woops and donuts and climbs and all that good stuff, but I'm down for a trail too... just remember, my truck is 2x4 with no LSD, so is Shelby's, and so is TRD Syrups.

Oh man this is gonna be some cool stuff!

Hopefully the OC & SD crew will chime in as far as a meet time. 12N might work as well. That gives everyone enuff time to get there / wipe the sleep outta their eyes. We can meet at McD's (off of the 5 at the Gorman exit) get some grub (if needed) and head on out.

There are lots of motorcycles out there running the same trails so we need to keep that in mind- hi speed romps around blind corners is a formula for disaster.

I cant remember what the fee for using the park is- something like $5 I haven't played there for quite some time as I usually hit the back trails. We will do some of the mello stuff so that everyone drives home in one piece, but we can always do the obstacle coarse and see who's 2x has the skinniest pedal We can also anty up for the best stuck

Also does everyone have cb or frs?

Meeting at McDonalds sounds like a good idea... we'll have to wait to confirm the best time for everybody... plus I bet a few more people will wind up coming.

I've heard that about Gorman... lots of dirtbikes to watch out for. No problem here, I'm not planning on blazing around mindlessly.

Best stuck is gonna go to me... no doubt about it... I'm a moron.

I don't have a CB radio and I'm not quite sure what FRS is... but I do have a set of Walkie Talkies that I was planning on bringing. Haha... that actually sounds funny... everybodies gonna be all prepared and I'm bringing Walkie Talkies... oh well. It's a set of those Motorola TalkAbout Walkie Talkies... do you know if they work on the same frequency as CB radios? Anybody else that's going... it'd probably help if you bring a set of Walkie Talkies too...

Hey Chris,

Thanks for the PM! I would go if it was on a Saturday and I wasn't busy. I'm getting headers and probably some Ivan Stewart parts so I won't be free. Sunday, I gotta head back to Yuma, AZ. But the Cali Speedway is coming up and your name isn't on the list. Whats up man? I spoke with Bill West (teamwest) and he might go so that'll be cool. Maybe Donahoe might decide to come. Stay Safe, have fun out there and take plenty of pictures.

Hey Sean,
Too bad you can't come... it's gonna be good stuff! About the Cali Speedway thing... I want to go, but at this point I really can't request a day off... so it all comes down to whether or not I'm off... so we'll see. I'll be sure to take plenty of pics!

I was kinda thinking the same thing... but if that particular McDonalds is close to where we're all going... it's probably the simplest place to meet. I was going to suggest Jimmy Deans or Tommy's or Dell Taco on the Old Road right off the 5, (right near me) but I figured that might make things confusing. As far as time... it's whatever works for everybody... 10-12... whatever... I'm right next to Gorman anyway. Now that I'm thinking about it... 12 would probably be best for those of you that have a ways to drive...

Everybody, post what you think what be a good time and meeting place.
