Default Snug Top So. Cal prices

Wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions to where I might find the best prices on Snug Top brand truck caps in the Los Angeles area.

I am specifically looking for a SnugTop Super Sport cap, painted, w/ rack rails so that I can install bike/surf racks on top of the cap.

Thanks for your help everyone.

When I was looking for one a while ago, the best price I got was at a place just south of the citadel off the 5 fwy. I think the name of the place is LA camper shells. Its very visible from the 5. I don't recall his pricing though.

Try Verns in Torrance. My Hiliner was about $1800 with a carpet kit and a Baja rack

I bought a SnugLid from American Campershells.
They have decent prices.

But, if I could do it over again, I'd go to Discount Camper in Long Beach.
Their prices are competitive and their guys seem to really care about their customers.
I bought a shell for my dad's tacoma there and asked how much a particular part was for my SnugLid.
Instead of charging me for the part (probably less than $10), he just gave it to me.
I like that kind of service.

I have a SnugTop XV w/ a bedrug, yakima rack and 2 bike mounts. I think it cost right around $1900. I'll have to check my receipt.

Oh yeah, I also got it at American Campershells in, umm, Carson. At least I think it was in Carson.

I bought my SnugTop Super Sport from Campway's up in Norcal. I bought it with the Yakima rail system on top. It will mount any of the Yakima componets. I paid right around $1900 with carpet lining and the fold down front sliding window. I really like it so far.

I’m on my second SnugTop, Snug Lid. The first one just wasn’t right...!...!

I’m a little anal, when it comes to my stuff!...I want it just so!!! I want it done right!

So I had the dealer take it back (LA Camper shell, off the 5). I spoke with SnugTop also followed with email & pics, few weeks later I got my new lid. Strait lines, new designed locking and release latch closes and locks on first close. Only thing it needs now is auto close/open.

Default Ditto re: the LA auto show & great deal

I fell into this, glad to pass it on;

Went to the L.A. autoshow in the spring of 2003. American Camper Shells (in Carson, Ca.) had a booth there. They were offering the Supersport shell for $500 off if you bought it during the week of the show. I picked up the shell, installed, for $1500, and a Bedrug for $300. Still extremely happy with both items.
