It is Friday and I didn't really feel like working at 4pm. So I was cruzing the internet and found Bilstein coilovers for 529.99 (No tax, free shipping). I ordered them.

Can anyone recommend a good place in Sacramento that will assemble and install?

I'll install them for free. I'm 45 mins from Davis.

Should I upgrade rear shocks to match even if I don't plan on leaving the pavement much?

One shop said yes. Does 1 hrs of labor sound right to install just the springs on the shocks ($85/hr)? They wanted $175 to install the whole front suspension which sounds more reasonable than the 85 for just the coils. My first few shops said NO when I told them they were after market parts.

Do I need to put the rear on jack stands to change the rear shocks?

I have some red lock-tight, should I use that on the bolts (rear or front) ?

I replaced the front and rear shocks about 2 months ago. It took about 2 hrs. If you want to do it yourself I can help you. Let me know.
