Folks,

I will be in the Los Angles area from May/10-17 and need a car rental, preferably a Toyota or other imports. Does anyone know such a rental place around the LAX area? I dont see any import available at most of the rental agencies (Hertz, Avis, National, Budget, Dollars, Alamo etc.....) when I checked unless I miss something? I used to able to rent Lexus from Alamo but that was quite a few years back, seems all the agencies are leaning on the big 3 now a day

Not sure if any of the places have a new Caddy STS but that would be one domestic worth checking out. Sorry I cannot help further.

Hertz and Avis usually have Toyota Camry available. They just don't show it in their web site. I usually ask for it or any import once I get to the counter.

I rented a Highlander from Hertz when I was in Cincinnatti a few weeks back. Brand new only 64 miles. Very nice.

Midway is good if you stay within CA, extra charges for outside CA

I found a place that have 4Runner, Camry and Prius etc.......on Century Blvd, free shuttle, good rate.......EVRENTAL dot com works for me

You can always rent directly from Toyota!

About 4 miles away is Manhattan Beach Toyota who rent virtually everything Toyota makes. If you call ahead, they'll probably give you a courtesy shuttle to/from the airport since it's less than 10 minutes away

. There are several other Toyota dealers near the airport that have rental service as well - just look them up on the Toyota web site. Good luck!
