Default Re: NorCal 4x4 Excursions - 2008

My roommate over corrected to something on the freeway, lost control and went into the median and rolled it once. I was out of town, and still havent been able to see it close up.

The roof is caved a few inches, bed is intact, rear axle looks off center, or the frame is tweaked, and from what I hear the front end is smashed in a bit.

So really, not THAT bad for a rollover, but insurance says totalled.

I am not familiar with insurance claims, but they are not covering anything but stock stuff, so I will be pissed if I don't get my stuff off. Anyone have experience with modded vehicles and insurance claims?

And he walked away without a scratch and was the only vehicle involved.

My insurance didn't cover my aftermarket parts either. However, I still got my SAS out of it. Plus, I was able to get a front bumper, sliders and wheels/tires. .

Unless, you had declared the aftermarket parts with your insurance, I highly doubt they'll be covered.

Now that you mention it, I doubt it. I would need to call my insurance agent to know for sure. There might be an additional "rider" I could purchase.
