Already got my air mattress, tent and other crap ready to go, and the trip is still two weeks away. Man I'm excited!

There was like 3 or 4 people that wanted to try out Barstow..what about this weekend, the weekend before presidents day weekend??

I've been to Barstow before. Its alot of fun, just really far away from San Diego. I would go this weekend, but I've gotta meet up with my sister and her new Dune Buggie out in Glamis

It is far from SD. BTW, is it advisable to go to Barstow with a few friends, but NONE of us have been there so we wont know where anything/trails is?

If you guys go to my website and click on Desert 411 on the top you will see some info about some various places including Barstow. There is a map of how to get to the areas that I like to go, trail maps, etc.. You can also go to mdrracing.com and look for the barstow course maps for example:

You can see the 15 freeway and exit Outlet Center Drive on the map. You can see how close the courses are to the freeway so simple to find.
