Ahh heck yeah, I'm going! When? Dec 3 Fri, Dec 4 Sat, or both?
Let me know bro, even if it's just you and me going.
(Hey guys, you're just gonna have to spend time behind the wheel to get to Ocotillo. I know the long drive sux, but that's the only way that you can have a chance to experience desert offroading and find out what this place has to offer)
That would be too much driving for me in one day to make it to Ocotillo Wells and then go wheelin'. Is there something close to Tom's Farm for Sunday morning that would work for a 1/2 day trip?
At this point, I am planning on driving down on Saturday, getting a motel room and hopefully doing some 4x'ing on Sunday morning before the meet.

I am thinking about heading out to try out the 4wd even though I never needed it in my prerunner over the past 6 years I have been going to Ocotillo. Where abouts do you guys camp? What areas are you offroading in? I have been going there for years and know it pretty well.

My truck is bone stock w/ the stock rugged trails too, but f-it, I'll still go. I just gots to bring a tow rope I guess.
Jordan, so I see you sold your prerun and got a Tundra. Never met you but admired pictures of your taco on other websites. What are your future plans for your Tundy? if it's not top secret of course.
I motored around Ocotillo Wells for years in bone stock trucks with a 4cyl before I built my last Prerunner and did just find dont worry. Im sure with this crowd you are going to have a bunch of 4wd there too like me!
Thanks for the compliments by the way!
Plans for the Tundy...well...as of right now Donahoe Coilovers, 33" Tires and looking at some various wheels right now as far as suspension goes. I am planning on a bunch of Audio upgrades, DVD and maybe Xbox and who knows what else some subs somewhere under the back bench. Going to keep this one comfy for now but down the line with my connections and friends...well...who knows my racing buds think itll be caged and racing MDR within 2 seasons! haha
