Are the bright lights on the 07/08 Camry as bad as I think they are?

Do your bights light up the branches in the trees 40 feet above the road?
Mine do.
My girlfriends do.
And two other people I know who have late model Camry's are all saying the same thing.

They light up the sky but do a piss poor job of lighting up the road.
And NO, it's not a matter of aim.
I've had both mine, and my girlfriends checked at the dealership, and they assured us that they are aimed to factory specs.

That was one of the first things I noticed was how terrible the OEM headlights are on these cars. I'm going to go HIDs because this car needs them badly.

Yeah the HID's will improve your low beams, but the high beams seem to waste half their light illuminating the sky.

toyota thinks their cars go so fast they think they can fly that is why the brights light up the sky.

I just checked the ebay site, and it looks like you could do the conversion for less than $75.

Just be sure you read the fine print, before you commit.
A lot of sellers are passing low quality Halogen bulbs off as HID.

You need to look carefully for a complete kit.
Also watch the shipping cost...some sellers shoot you a low ball price, and then charge you outrageous shipping charges.

This is to get around the tariff ebay charges on the selling price.
Apparently it works.
