In case any one is looking for the answer...
Set the odometer to A
Turn off car
Hold the odometer reset button
Turn car on
Wait for screen to reset the warning.

It's a good idea to use the A setting for your oil changes and your B setting for individual trips or to calculate mileage stats, since A gets reset to 0 when you reset the warning indicator.

not if you release the button right after it resets.
