Has any one else had this problem on Nav. 5.1 or 6.1 that when you input a street number then when you put the street name and city it will say no such address yet the address is on the map? I found the answer though. I input the street name first then the street number and it works every time. Maybe this is the way it's supposed to be inputed, although the street name is not highlighted first on this screen.

Mine doesn't but I am still having discussions with Toyota on the subject!
I have a similar situation. A dealer installed NAV system does not have a trip information icon. I have contacted Toyota Canada, initially a person said that this is only available when NAV is factory installed. I said that manual distributed in Canada does not specify that the option is available only in US. Finally thy promised to conduct a research on possible upgrade to have a feature activated. I will advise if I get any answer (hopefully by the end of July).
Anyway I am VERY interested if the dealer you mentioned was able to do this...? Please let us know.

I went thru this same exercise with Toyota. Trip information screens are definitely not available with the dealer installed (the only Canadian nav option available) nav unit. After much discussion Toyota agreed to remove the nav unit and reinstall the original radio not only because of this issue but also because of the inferior nav performance.

For those interested, I did get the energy screens working in my Canadian Camry Hybrid.

Now here's the bad news. It's not as simple as "activating" the screens. It's actually a different unit. I'm not sure the Canadian dealers can even get this unit.

You can identify the unit by a small E7011 on the lower left of the face plate, and the part number 86120-33A30. The ones the Canadian dealers seem to be installing is the non hybrid unit, which will say E7012 on the lower left of the face plate, and is part number 86120-06390. I have seen some on ebay which do not match either part number, but do say E7011 on the lower left. Those might work, but 86120-33A30 is the only one I know for sure does.

PM me if anyone wants more info on the differences, and how to hook this unit up.

Later!

Dang

Regarding inputing the address first and getting Nothing...

If yu put in city first, then street...it will offer addresses to choose from. A TMS tech showed me trick although it is is not written anywhere. Discovered this after I made a comment at the dealer when I picked up My HL. I was lucky, my salesman pointed me to this Toyota Rep and I was all over him. And he was very forth coming with alot of undocumented Nav Display stuff, etc.
