I've noticed that although the TCH is exceptionally quiet in terms of engine noise and blocking exterior sounds, there is a slight clicking coming from the back of the cabin. It seems to be from the area at the bottom of the rear window in the shelf. Am I hearing battery sounds or is it related to the plasmacluster air system?
There are also some squeaks from the top of the dash on the passenger side. Small annoyances but at 800 miles, why should anything squeak?

I agree. There should be NO squeaks or rattles, especially at 800 miles.
As an example- I have a 2000 Tundra w/103K- no squeaks or rattles, my old 1993 Toyota Camry had 217K when I sold it, no squeaks or rattles and my old 1990 Lexus LS400 had 249K when I sold it.... no squeaks or rattles.
I even have a 1969 Chevrolet Caprice that I am restoring and to my amazement, it too is still 100% squeak and rattle free and its a 4dr hardtop.
I would get it to the dealer.... maybe they can track it down. Seems to be a common problem on the 07's.

I also noticed a "klick" sound at the back of the car everytime when I firmly step on the brake driving downhill and regardles of speed (2mph or 60mph). I think it is related to the level of deceleration. I agree, small annoyance, but why this happens?
The clicking sound in the rear window was, apparently, a loose screw in one of the speakers. I can only say apparently because I just got the car back from my first service and when the dealer could not find the source of the noise, they performed the repair from the TSB relating to rear window noise, but that didn't correct the problem. So, then they determined it was a loose screw.
I also have the chirping cricket noise in the console, which they acknowledged hearing - but would not attempt to resolve.
To add to things, the service advisor had no knowledge of hybrids, told me flat out I was wrong about the proper oil weight to use, and then went to someone else and found out I was correct. When we went for a test drive, he didn't know how to start the car, and when I told him and he started it, he didn't know it was running because there was no noise.
The TCH has been out for about a year, you would think by now a major dealership like the one I used would have advisors who know something about the car.
At the end of the day, he asked me to report his service to Toyota as excellent when I get a survey or not to submit the survey at all. I'll really have to think about that because no one is perfect, we all have room for improvement. If you can't accept constructive criticism, why ask for it?
I think I'm going to look for another dealer for my next service.

A console that makes a noise similar to 2 pieces of polystryrene rubbing against each other is not uncommon.
I placed some electrical tape under the clear platic bezel that surrounds the shifter stick. 6 months later, the noise has not come back.
TSB NV005-07 came out on May 2nd, 2007, about that : A new shifter trim, with pre-installed felt at some locations, is available. This repair is covered under the "Toyota Comprehensive Warranty" for cars manufactured before the production change became effective.
