Default 12 Volts in Engine compartment ?

Does anyone know where one would tap into a solid 12v source in the engine compartment. I would like to add HID headlamps but really need a 12v source for the startup relay. Hate to think about running a wire to the rear . Thanks

Sorry - I see this issue has already been brought up.....
